InkPress is operated by Xai Robotics (“Xai Robotics,” “InkPress,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.
Your writing is your content. We use information to provide and operate InkPress, not to build an advertising profile about you.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to InkPress and related services that link to this policy.
It does not apply to unrelated Xai Robotics products, programs, websites, or services governed by a different privacy policy.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use InkPress, we may collect the following categories of information.
A. Account and Contact Information
We may collect information needed to provide and manage your account, such as your name, email address, and account status.
B. Content You Provide
We process content that you create, submit, or choose to use with InkPress. This may include handwriting, text, mathematical notation, documents, instructions, corrections, and other content you provide.
Your content may include personal information if you choose to include personal information in it.
C. Purchase Information
If you purchase a subscription or other paid offering, we may receive information needed to confirm and administer that purchase. We do not receive your full payment-card information.
D. Usage and Diagnostic Information
We may collect limited information about your use of InkPress and your device that is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
E. Communications
If you contact us, we may collect the information you provide and information reasonably necessary to respond.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect information:
- directly from you when you provide it or use InkPress;
- automatically when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or diagnose the service; and
- from third parties when reasonably necessary to provide services you request or administer your account or purchases.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- provide and operate InkPress;
- manage accounts;
- process content and perform features you request;
- provide AI-powered features;
- administer purchases and subscriptions;
- maintain security and prevent abuse;
- diagnose problems and improve reliability;
- provide customer support;
- comply with applicable law; and
- protect our rights and the rights of our users.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not use InkPress content for targeted advertising or to build advertising profiles about our users.
5. AI Processing
InkPress uses third-party artificial-intelligence services to provide AI-powered features.
When you choose to use an AI-powered feature, content and related information reasonably necessary to perform your request may be shared with Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic. This may include content you provide to InkPress, such as handwriting, text, mathematical notation, documents, instructions, or related context.
We share information with these providers only as necessary to provide the requested service. We do not sell your InkPress content to them or authorize them to use your content for advertising.
We require third parties with whom we share user data to protect that data consistent with this Privacy Policy, applicable law, and applicable Apple requirements.
Before personal data is shared with a third-party AI provider, InkPress will provide notice and obtain permission where required by Apple or applicable law.
The providers we use may change over time. We will update this Privacy Policy or provide additional notice when required.
6. Other Disclosures
We may share information with third parties that help us provide, operate, secure, support, or administer InkPress.
We require third parties with whom we share user data to use appropriate protections and to process the information only for authorized purposes.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of users, Xai Robotics, or others;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
- complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
7. What We Do Not Do
InkPress does not:
- sell your personal information;
- sell your writing or other InkPress content;
- use your InkPress content for behavioral advertising; or
- track you across unrelated companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
If these practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent required by law.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide InkPress, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why we need it.
When you delete your account or request deletion of personal information, we will delete or de-identify information as required by applicable law, subject to information we are permitted or required to retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Information processed by third parties may also be subject to applicable legal and contractual retention requirements.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to:
- request access to personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request a portable copy of certain information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- appeal certain privacy-request decisions; and
- opt out of certain uses or disclosures where applicable.
InkPress does not sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
10. AI Permission and Withdrawal
Where permission is required before personal data is shared with a third-party AI provider, InkPress will request that permission before the applicable sharing occurs.
You may withdraw that permission through the privacy controls available in InkPress. Withdrawing permission may prevent features that depend on AI processing from functioning until permission is granted again.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
No system can guarantee absolute security.
12. International Processing
We and third parties that process information on our behalf may process information in the United States and other countries.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal information, we use appropriate legal protections.
13. Children
InkPress is a general-audience productivity service and is not directed specifically to children under 13.
If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in circumstances where parental consent was legally required and was not obtained, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.

14. Third-Party Services
InkPress may allow you to interact with independently controlled third-party services. Information you choose to provide to those services may be subject to their own privacy practices.
This Privacy Policy does not govern services controlled independently by third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy as InkPress, applicable law, our service providers, or our data practices change.
If we make a material change, we will provide notice when required by law. The date at the top of this policy identifies when it was last updated.
